CIRCUS SAFARI

2015, acrylic on canvas, 18” x 24”, $700.00

Going to the Circus as a child I felt that I was on a safari to a foreign land. Shifting shapes, a whirl of color and a cacophony of sounds created a lifetime of impressions. So as an adult I created my own circus consisting of a few mail trucks painted like Gypsy wagons. The performers included clowns, a fortuneteller and dancers accompanied by a menagerie of animals including a llama, a rouged lamb, a dancing dog, two monkeys and some lovebirds
